Ramblings ...

I’d died that day…
When the rain had stopped awhile –
The gust had the leaves blown away,
And when no one was to be seen – mile after mile.

I’d died that night…
When the hot streams (of tears) didn’t let me sleep –
When I shattered in pain – unable, anymore to fight…
And your words had, within my heart, like a dagger, sunk deep

I’d died that moment...
I gave you back, all you had given to me.
Save only the false feelings that you’d lent…
And your million hypocrisies and lies that I’d trusted so blindly…

I’d died…
When your heart didn’t, for me, beat the rhythm of love
When my smile lost its way up to my lips
When, through my eyes, your sins, cried…

Are you happy now, my darling slayer?
You did let me hear your sadism laugh!
After having ruthlessly thrown me into your life’s trash-bin
Searching for your soul’s better- (looking?) half…

Hadn’t you complained – I don’t smile (often)…
Even after I heard your cruel remarks?!
Here, today I smile –
The smile of solace, of peace…
